How to choose a dermal filler supplier in the UAE: a checklist for clinics

Choosing a dermal filler supplier in the UAE: Revolax and Belotero

Clinics in the UAE and GCC buy dermal fillers, skin boosters and other injectables from distributors, wholesalers and online suppliers. Prices differ, but so does what you actually receive: the same brand name can arrive as an original product with full batch data or as a box of unclear origin that has spent days in a hot warehouse. This checklist covers the points worth checking before you place a first order with any supplier, including us.

1. The product is original and traceable

An original filler or booster comes in sealed manufacturer packaging with a printed batch (lot) number and expiry date on the box and on each syringe or vial label. Korean products usually carry the manufacturer’s name and address, and many brands add a hologram or a QR code that leads to the manufacturer’s verification page. Ask the supplier how they source the product — directly from the manufacturer, from an official distributor or from a secondary market — and whether they can show the batch number before shipping.

Be careful with prices far below the market. A large discount on a well-known brand is the most common sign of grey imports, relabelled stock or short expiry dates.

2. The product page says what is inside

A serious supplier lists the composition and package for every product: hyaluronic acid concentration in mg/mL, the presence of lidocaine, syringe volume and the number of syringes per box. For example, every page in our dermal fillers catalogue shows the package, HA concentration and available grades. If the page only shows a brand name and a price, ask for the full specification before ordering — it is hard to plan a treatment without it.

3. Cold chain and packing

Hyaluronic acid fillers are fairly stable at room temperature, but many products are sensitive to heat: polynucleotide and PDRN boosters, exosomes and some vitamins and peptides. In the UAE climate the last mile matters as much as the flight. Ask how parcels are packed: thermal insulation, cooling gel packs, and how long the parcel stays in transit. We describe our approach in a separate article on how temperature-sensitive aesthetic products are shipped.

4. Clear delivery and customs terms

Before paying, you should know who ships the parcel, how long delivery takes, whether it is insured and who pays customs duties and import taxes. With international suppliers, the recipient usually pays import charges, and this changes the real price of the order. Our terms are on the Delivery & payment page: orders ship from Korea by DHL, FedEx or EMS, insured for their full value, with a tracking number.

5. A real person confirms the order

For professional products a short check before shipping is normal: the supplier confirms availability, the exact option (grade, volume, needle size) and the final amount. This avoids mistakes such as receiving a product without lidocaine when you needed the lidocaine version. A supplier that answers on WhatsApp or by email within a business day is easier to work with than one that only has a contact form.

6. Secure payment

Paying by card through a secure payment link or by bank invoice is safer than transferring money to a private account. Ask for an invoice that lists every product, quantity and price — you will need it for your clinic’s accounting and, if needed, for customs.

7. One supplier for the whole protocol

A clinic rarely orders a single item. Fillers come with cannulas and needles, skin boosters with microneedling cartridges, and almost every procedure needs a numbing cream. Ordering from one supplier simplifies delivery and reduces the number of parcels to clear. Check whether the supplier also carries needles and cannulas, numbing creams and other consumables.

8. Wholesale terms for regular orders

If your clinic orders every month, ask about wholesale pricing. Most suppliers offer better prices for larger or repeat orders. See our wholesale page for how to request a quote.
